Sports in Europe (9th-10th c.)

“Kolskegg whirled round and leapt at him, swung at his tight
with the short-sword, and cut off Kol’s leg.

- ‘Did that one landed or not?’, asked Kolskegg.
- ‘That’s my reward for not having my shield’, said Kol.

He stood for a moment on one leg looking down at the stump.

- ‘You don’t need to look,’ said Kolskegg; ‘It’s just as you think – the
leg is off.’

Then Kol fell down dead to the ground.”

- ‘¿Te llegó esa o no te llegó?’, preguntó Kolskegg.
